Congratulations to David Crummey and Samarth Ghorpade who held off strong challenges from no fewer than 12 other colleges. A heavyweight title for the featherweight pair. _________________________________________________ Date: Wednesday, 2nd Week Trinity Term (11th May) Time: 14:30-15:30 (a morning session is also being agreed) Venue: Southfield Golf Club, Hill Top Rd, Oxford, OX4 1PF Format: Eclectic (betterball) scoring, with the best score from the players of each respective college taken on each hole. Unlimited number of players per college Price: £20 per person per round. Your college JCR Sports Fund may subsidise this, and OUGC is currently looking into the possibility of subsidising this as well General Information: The annual Cuppers tournament is a competitive but lighthearted event for both members of OUGC, and more importantly non-OUGC members to find out more about golf at Oxford and meet some of the current team members. If you have clubs with you in Oxford and have an official handicap (no proof required, just a reasonable standard of play) get in touch. No need to organise college teams - enter individually and OUGC will do the pairings for you should these be available. If not, individuals can represent their college alone.
