Blues

The Blues are the 1st team of the university. We represent Oxford in The University Golf Match (link) against Cambridge every year in March. We have an incredible fixture list (link to blues fixture list) which pits us against some of the top clubs from around the country, in scratch matchplay. Players can and do move between the Blues and Divots through the year in view of trial scores and matchplay results.

The Blues Squad benefits from coaching with John Cook, who is based at The Witney Lakes Resort, Oxon. Each Wednesday afternoon, the players spend a few hours with ´JC´, as he is affectionately known, working on our games in preparation for the weekend´s matches. John is a highly regarded coach and has certainly been a huge asset to the University Team since relations began in October 2009.
